Production of polyester-glass laminates

The KUKA robot, which moves on a 1200mm long treadmill, is equipped with a 7.5 kW liquid-cooled milling spindle with automatic tool change, a magazine for 8 tools, an additional axis with a saw and as many as three work areas – the form of light beams, bicycle fenders and a vacuum table. Such a unique installation was installed at our customer, who produces glass fiber laminates. The client’s second robot, also on rails, was integrated with the gel-cooker. In the next phase of the project, we will build the entire gelcoat stabilization and mold transport system for the client.
